After the best show on television officially ended last year, I thought I could never love T.V. the same. Yes, once LOST finally wrapped up in the weirdest way possible, I have moved on to other shows, but not through the traditional mode of watching. Ever since my technology-obsessed (and technology-illiterate) mother bought a Roku box, which connects our T.V. to the Internet, I haven't even thought about normal cable television. Netflix has ruined me! I am so spoiled, watching all my favorite shows without commercials such as 30 Rock, Lie to Me, Cake Boss, Burn Notice, and The Office. There are the occasional shows that I regularly watch in prime time, despite the extremely frustrating presence of commercials. At the top of that list would be Fox's So You Think You Can Dance with "your fabulous host...Cat Deeley!" The fact that I sit through the numerous annoying faces and comments made by this "oh-so-fabulous" host should prove the high quality of the show. The sad truth is, television is a wonderful form of entertainment tainted by endless ads, product plugs, and obnoxious reality hosts (cough - Cat Deeley - cough cough).
