the penguin on your telly will now explode...

Now that that's out of the way
I'm not particularly interested in watching that much TV because I have no interest in reality or sports shows and I no longer watch copious amounts of cartoons like I used to as a kid. I think that the qualty of TV programs have gone down over the years (and what was once good is gone or has gotten too strange to bear watching - I'm looking at you, Cartooon Network). I have no interest in keeping up with a show like Modern Family or other shows like it, although I may occasionly watch an episode of NCIS with my parents. I used to watch nature programs on Nova growing up but now even those have gone down hill (discovery channel now withstanding). Now, my TV is only used when its connected to a DVD player or an Xbox, where I watch anime dvds and occasionally episodes of shows like Monty Python or Fawlty Towers. These are my two favorite non-anime showes and both are hysterical but are probably better watched in small amounts.
I believe that TV is good, like all things, in moderation. I find it annoying that TV now is mostly commercials and no actual tangeable content. As such, TV has no value other than to kill time nad catch up on sports if you're into that type of thing. That is all I have to say, so goodnight and watch out for the kamikaze bagpipers.
