As you may be able to tell from my title my favorite TV show is Two and a Half Men. It may be on the entire year but i find it hilarious due to its crude humor and underlying sexual jokes. I like the show so much i tivo all of the episodes, yes even the reruns, and watch them countless times I have probably seen some episodes up to ten times. Even though it may be awkward i often watch the show with my mom her favorite character of course is Allen while mine is Charlie.
One a more serious note my other favorite show of all time 24 has been cancelled. Jack Bauer beating up foreign terrorists just appeals to me for some reason. I watched the majority of the seasons however I missed the beginning seasons. I am hoping that another station will pick up the show soon so my family and I don't go through Jack withdrawal. Im serious our family doesn't answer and phones or doorbells when the show is on just quality time with our television.
I am also a frequent watcher of the crime mystery shows such as Criminal Minds and CSI. Although I don't watch one particular show on a consistent basis it seems like anytime I turn on the television to find something to watch one of those shows or a close variation is always on. I don't dislike many shows however I am the first to admit I am not a Glee fan, and especially not a LOST fan. I just don't see the appeal to LOST, I mean a fog monster is terrorizing the island, really?
I do not believe television is destructive to me or over advertises products to me. I generally watch most of my television later at night on the tivo and therefore I fast forward through all of the commercials. I find television almost relaxing after a long day I like to unwind sit in my favorite chair and watch some of my favorite shows.
